L.M.S. Tactical is a owned and operated by Michael ("Mike") Weiss and operates in Northern Virginia. As a Former Army Paratrooper, a retired Los Angeles Police Officer and a current law enforcement firearms and tactics instructor, Mike is no stranger to the concept of evil. A longtime member of the NRA, he is a strong believer in the protection of the second amendment. He is an NRA certified Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor and A Federal Law Enforcement Training Center ("FLETC") certified Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor.
You own a gun for a reason. You are a citizen of Virginia and believe in the constitutional right to keep and carry it. Or, you’re a security guard, or maybe a police officer and you are required to carry it in the performance of your duties. L.M.S. Tactical strives to bring realistic and usable firearms training to those who want and need it. Not everyone has the ability or desire to train like a Special Forces operator, yet everyone who owns and/or carries a gun has an obligation to themselves and those around them, to be competent, safe and effective gun handlers.
Whether you are confined to a wheelchair, are a uniformed police officer, a housewife, or a Navy SEAL, Certain fundamental truths apply to the subject of you and your firearm. It is those truths that L.M.S. Tactical will teach, introduce, refresh or hone, leaving the client equipped and able to be victorious in the unfortunate, but realistically possible scenario of an armed defense of their own lives or innocents around them. Because in a violent attack against an innocent citizen, the only real winner is in deed, the Last "Man" Standing.
At L.M.S. Tactical, the client receives one on one detail oriented instruction and training. Our instructors are trained to evaluate a persons strengths and weaknesses and work at a pace and tempo that is comfortable and effective for the individual.
